## `skillset change add`

Add a pending source change.

### Usage

```text
skillset change add --scope <source-unit> --bump <bump> [--group <group>] [--reason <text>|--reason-file <path>|--reason -] [--since <ref>] [--json] [--root <path>]
```

### Options

| Option | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| `--bump <value>` | Set the release impact of a change entry. |
| `--group <value>` | Select or assign a change group. |
| `--json` | Emit exactly one versioned finite JSON result document. |
| `--reason <value>` | Provide change or release reason text, with '-' meaning stdin. |
| `--reason-file <value>` | Read change or release reason text from a file. |
| `--root <value>` | Select the repository root; defaults to cwd or Git root according to the route. |
